Cazenove Capital, the wealth management business of Schroders in the UK, has been announced as the winner of two accolades at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards: Winner of the Impact/ Sustainability Investment Management Company of the Year award and Winner of the Private Client Asset Manager of the Year award.
The awards are judged by a panel of experienced industry professionals – accountants, lawyers, trust companies in the sector – as well as voted for by industry professionals and peers.
This is the first year that Cazenove Capital has won the Private Client Asset Manager of the Year award, which recognises our client-centric approach and leading private wealth management offering.
Mary-Anne Daly, Chief Executive Officer, Schroders Wealth Management commented:
“I am so proud of the business achieving these prestigious accolades which are testament to the quality of the team, our broad range of services and the depth of our investment expertise”.
This is the third year in a row that we have won the Impact/ Sustainability Investment Management Company of the Year, which highlights the breadth of Cazenove Capital’s sustainable investment offering and performance of its sustainable and impact portfolios. The award comes shortly after Cazenove Capital released its latest Impact Reports and announcing earlier this year that it will adopt the FCA’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirement (SDR) “Sustainability Focus” label.
Catherine Hampton, Sustainable Investment Director, Cazenove Capital commented:
“We believe sustainable investment can help us to achieve good outcomes for our stakeholders, exclude harmful companies that may come with additional investment risk and allow us to allocate capital to solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The award underscores the robustness of Cazenove Capital’s sustainable investment approach, and commitment to managing investments in line with our values.”
